The School of Pharmacy has been one of the pioneers in Mongolia to train medical professionals since its establishment in 1966 when it produced the first batch of 33 pharmacists. As of 2021, it has trained a total of 1906 pharmacists and 2706 pharmacy technicians. Our graduates are employed in various sectors, including medical production, medical supply manufacturing, hospitals, research institutions, pharmaceutical companies, the Ministry of Health, and public health organizations.
The program to train pharmacist was initiated in 1961, and since then, it has been renovated nine times to meet the changing demands and standards of medical education and training. In 2004, the school commenced a project aimed at improving medical education and training in Mongolia, aligning with international standards. This project was officially approved in 2008 and has been successfully implemented.
The training program for pharmacy technician, which started in 1926, has also undergone several renovations over the years to adapt to evolving medical practices. The most recent renovation was completed in 2020, focusing on enhancing the quality of medical education and training.
The bachelor's program for pharmcaist was accredited for the second time in 2017, and the program for pharmacy technician was accredited for the second time in 2019 by the Mongolian National Accreditation Board for Higher Education.
