The "2nd National Pharmaceutical Chemistry Olympiad" Named After Academic D. Dungerdorj Was Successfully Organized

The School of Pharmacy of the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences (MNUMS) successfully organized the "2nd National Pharmaceutical Chemistry Olympiad", dedicated to the esteemed People's Teacher of Mongolia, Academician, Founding Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences, Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Professor Densmaa Dungerdorj, on April 2–3, 2025.

The event was proudly sponsored and supported by "AIVICO LLC." "AIVICO LLC" is one of the leading companies in Mongolia’s pharmaceutical sector, committed to advancing domestic production, delivering high-quality, safe, and accessible medicines, and playing a prominent role in supporting students' education, elevating the value of the pharmacy profession, and preparing future leaders in the field.

A total of 215 students from 43 teams (3rd to 5th-year students) registered for the Olympiad.
Participants included 40 teams from MNUMS and 2 teams from the University of Medical Science and Technology (UMST).

• The preliminary round was held at the main campus of MNUMS on April 2, 2025, after which 5 teams were selected for the final round.

• The second round was successfully organized at the Accredited Drug Testing Laboratory of the MNUMS School of Pharmacy on April 3, 2025.

• First Place: AIDAS team from MNUMS School of Pharmacy

• Second Place: GOOD CHEMISTRY PRACTICE team from MNUMS School of Pharmacy
  (D. Shirnen, Ch. Khaliunaa, U. Zoljargal, M. Nurgalym, E. Erdene-Ochir)

• Third Place: C407 team from MNUMS School of Pharmacy
  (E. Mungunshagai, D. Dayanaa, Kh. Khajgul, M. Jargalan, Ch. Munkhjin)

• Special Award: THE SPRING team from MNUMS School of Pharmacy
  (E. Anujin, B. Aztsetseg, B. Manaljav, N. Pagmaa, Kh. Tsendeehuu)

• Special Award: MUPS team from UMST School of Pharmacy
  (T. Otgonchimeg, Kh. Ankhzaya, B. Sarantungalag, B. Anungoo, B. Bujinlkham)
